Dihexa is a neuropeptide research compound with a molecular weight of 504.7 g/mol and a research half-life of long (days); orally stable. Dihexa is an orally active, blood-brain-barrier-penetrant peptidomimetic developed at Washington State University from angiotensin IV research. It potentiates hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) signaling at its receptor c-Met, and in preclinical models it has shown extraordinarily potent synaptogenic activity - reported as orders of magnitude more potent than BDNF at promoting new synaptic connections in vitro.
